ARMS AND AMMUNITIONS

The Excise Department is in possession of 47 Nos. of 303 Rifles and 17 Nos. of Sten guns along with sufficient numbers of Ammunitions. The requirement of firearms is to equip the Excise personnel for the critical nature of duties in the Inter State borders and in manning various Check posts, and for which Excise personnel have undergone series of training in handling of weapons.
